Video Resources

New, helpful videos

When you’re in Family Court, you might hear a lot of new words. We described a lot of those words in our Glossary section.

We want to better explain what you’re going to experience, so here are some new videos about words you’ll hear and people you’ll meet in Family Court.

You don’t have to remember everything! If you hear something that you don’t understand, you can always ask your lawyer (Attorney for the Child) or social worker to explain.

Be “Court Smart”!

These videos are part of our “Court Smart” series and were created by participants of the Children’s Voice Project (CVP) in 2025. The CVP is a special program in which young people who have experienced Family Court create videos, handouts, booklets and more to help other young people who are currently experiencing court.

Contact us if you want to get involved with the Children’s Voice Project! Participants must be 16 years old or older.
