It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CLCNY.org is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Limitations and alternatives
Our site was designed to be accessible and inclusive. Despite our best efforts, there may be some cases where we have not been able to meet the standard. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known issues
The donation form uses technology from a third-party service. We have identified the following issues with the current implementation:
- There is a missing form label on the custom amount field.
- There is no screen reader feedback when selecting a button (tested in VoiceOver on macOS).
- When selecting the Dedication or Donate buttons, the modal does not receive focus.
If you have trouble using the donation form, please let us know.
Assessment approach
Children’s Law Center of New York assessed the accessibility of CLCNY.org by self-evaluation: the website’s accessibility was evaluated by the developers.
