Christina M. Schmid, Esq. is Vice President and Managing Counsel at Scholastic, where she leads on employment and labor law strategy. 

Christina’s connection to such a vibrant literary community will help bring our work closer to the power of great books. With years of experience both in private practice and as in-house counsel, she brings sharp legal expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a strong commitment to equity. Christina previously worked at McCarter & English, LLP and Ogletree Deakins.

Christina’s perspective will be an invaluable addition as CLC continues to grow and strengthen our mission to amplify children’s voices in the legal system. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Colgate University and her JD from Emory University.
